  1. Information you give us. We receive and store any information you enter on our web site or give us in any other way, such as emails. We use the information you give us to answer your questions, customize future shopping for you, improve our store or just to talk to you. Here are some other examples of info you might give us:
    • You provide most such information when you search, buy, or communicate with customer service. For example, you provide information when you search for a product; place an order through NSM88records.com; provide information in My Account (and you might have more than one if you have used more than one e-mail address when shopping with us); communicate with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise; complete a questionnaire; provide and rate Reviews. As a result of these actions, you might supply us with such information as your name, address, and phone numbers; credit card information; people to whom purchases have been shipped, including addresses and phone number.

  2. Automatic Information. Everytime you log in to our site, we automatically receive and store certain types of information as you navigate our site. Why? Some information you give us voluntarily (like your email) and some we use to make sure our site functions as smoothly as possible for the widest possible audience (like browser type and version, OS and so on). Some of it is just to make your shopping faster, safer and more convenient. As you might expect, we use cookies. Cookies are little strings of numbers and letters that let our software recognize you the next time your visit. Cookies let you store items in your cart for future purchase; kind of like a wish list. Cookies also speed up your shopping so you can get in and out of the site faster. Of course, you can always turn the cookie feature off by reading the Help section of your browser. But, some features of our site might not work so well.

    Here is some of the other info we track when your browser logs in:

    • the Internet protocol address used to connect your computer to the internet;
    • your login for our site, e-mail address & password;
    • computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform;
    • purchase history, which we combine with similar information from other customers for the "customers who bought this also bought" feature;
    • the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) clickstream to, through, and from our Web site, including date and time; cookie number; and,
    • during some visits we may use software tools such as JavaScript to measure and collect session (a single visit from a single customer) information, including page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

  3. Do you share the information you receive? We will not release personally identifiable information about our users in violation of the terms set out in our Privacy Notice. Here is when we do release your information:
    • Some info released is necessary to conduct business and get your purchase to you: the postal service needs your address to deliver your purchase; the credit card processing center needs your card info; your bank needs to know you sent us a check.
    • We will also release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, to enforce our Conditions of Use or other agreements; or to protect the rights, property or safety of NSM88 Records LLC, our employees, our partners or others.

  4. How secure is my information? We utilize Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for the most sensitive information; SSL encrypts - scrambles - the information you input. Our customer lists are well protected. But remember: It is up to you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer.

  5. Changes and Revisions to our Privacy Policy: From time to time, our Privacy Notice will change to reflect the changing needs of our business and/or the political climate. We may e-mail periodic reminders of our notices and conditions, unless you have instructed us not to, but you should check our site frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account. We stand behind the promises we make, however, and will never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of customer information collected in the past without the consent of affected customers. Please Contact Us with any questions.
